Just like the other De Baak venue Landgoed de Horst (‘De Horst Estate’), De Baak Seaside aims to create an optimal learning environment for its guests. Not just for De Baak’s own training courses, but also for single or multi-day external training courses or meetings. A venue where guests come together with one common goal: to learn.
Decades of Experience
For decades, De Baak Seaside has been well known as a conference and study center in Noordwijk. In 1957, Het Verbond (‘The Alliance’) bought hotel Astrid at the Koningin Astridboulevard, gave the hotel the new name ‘De Baak’, and repurposed it to an event venue. Nowadays, De Baak Seaside is not just the ideal learning environment for participants and visitors, but also for young professionals in the hospitality industry. Top talents with a hospitality education are trained further, so they can specialize, continue to grow, and share their knowledge and passion with the guests.
Hotel
De Baak Seaside has 24 modern, spacious, and light learning rooms available, wherein every desired setting is possible. These are not standard meeting rooms. They’re set up in such a way that the rooms contribute to an inspiring gathering with a capacity of 2 to 150 persons. Fitted with luxurious chairs, modern communication devices and high-quality audio and climate systems, these rooms create a serene and inspiring ambiance. Continue working or relax a little after the training? Wake up well rested and keep the momentum going? De Baak Seaside also has 100 comfortable hotel rooms available. In the atmospheric and spacious lounge, with a nice view of the sea, guests can enjoy a breakfast, lunch, dinner, or prepare a presentation. The central point of De Baak Seaside, the patio, offers room to work, learn, or train in the sun. De Baak Seaside has 40 private parking spots available, as well as ample public parking in the vicinity.
