AIR is situated behind the facade of legendary night club iT, right next to Rembrandt Square. In the evenings, this is where the club-goers wait until the bouncer opens the gate and allows them to enter. Waiting inside is a spacious entrance with unprecedented possibilities, creatively speaking. The three halls can be employed separately or collectively with customization possibilities down to the smallest details.

Striking Design

The venue’s interior by designer Marcel Wanders is striking: luxurious design furniture, comfortable lounge couches and VIP-tables create warm and colorful contrasts in the raw, dark club atmosphere. The special layout of the club, which slopes down from the entrance via many terraces to the main hall, make it so the spaces feel intimate – despite the high ceiling and the large rooms.

After entering the building, we walk around the corner, past the cloakroom and gaze across the main hall beneath us. We make our way to the dance floor and cross two terraces, one with a bar and one with a DJ-booth. Because the main hall is lowered, this space feels surprisingly high. Surrounded by a high wall with hundreds of led lamps, this is where you really get sucked into an event. The lamps can display any desired effect, from the company logo to magnificent light effects. It’s not hard to imagine a dancing crowd here, but presentations in this spectacular space work equally well because of the customization possibilities.

Personal Atmosphere

Around the corner of the main hall, beneath the entrance, is an extra space that can be used as a breakout-room or as an additional open and connected room during a party. On the ground floor there’s also an extra room, suitable for parties up to 150 persons, with a nice view on the main hall. This is the perfect spot to have a private gathering during a public party and still enjoy the festivities. Every room in AIR has its own design and atmosphere. With five bars, two luxurious smoking spaces, a stage with a screen and projector, and because of the option to separate the rooms; every event can be tailor-made to any desired setup. It’s no surprise that AIR is very suitable for a wide range of events: from bustling business parties to spectacular presentations, from fancy dinners beneath the chandeliers to TV recordings.

Unique Vibe

AIR has a creative and experienced team that can help with organizing any event, or even take it out of your hands entirely. Though the maximum capacity is 1250 persons, the aim is always to create an intimate atmosphere regardless of the number of visitors. Because of the dark walls, ceilings and floor, it’s easy to create any desired vibe with just a few modifications in decoration and lighting. For a complete sensory experience, you can even have your desired smell be pumped through the building by means of an aroma enriching air system.
